Diamond Bracelet

Bracelets are not only fast and easy to make but they are nice addition to any  garment when you choose the right colour(s).

This bracelet design will attract everyone's attention.

*** This pattern is free. You may sell the products you make from my patterns but not the pattern itself. If you sell items from this pattern please link back to this post. Do not copy and repost this pattern or any of the photos and claim them as your own. ***

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: Super fine, 100% cotton
Hook size: 3mm (C or D) (hook size conversion chart)
Stitches used: ch, sc
Finished size: to fit woman hand
Colours used: green, white and grey

Note: Only chain and sc are used for this pattern.

Pattern:

First I have made a guirland of crochet squares.

Each square is made:
Ch 5, sc in second hook from st, sc till the end(4st). Turn.
Row 2-5: ch 1, sc in same st, sc till end (4 st). Turn.
First square is made.

If you did not end up with square you may adjust the pattern for the square:
- add or remove stitch from the starting chain
- add or remove a row of sc

Do not cut the yarn when you finish the square but continue with the next square (ch 5, then make a square), make 7 squares or less/more depending on the hand.

Join white and make a row of sc all around the bracelet. On the top corners make sc, ch, sc in the top st. End with ss in the first sc.

Join grey and make another round of sc around the bracelet, skip the corner sc down, on the top corners stitch make sc, ch 2, sc to make straight edges.

Before cutting the yarn ch 5-6 and end with ss at the first chain. It will be used as button hole. Sew small button at the other side of the bracelet.

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: Fine
Hook size: D/3mm(hook size conversion chart)
Stitches used: ch, sc, ss
Finished size: Easily adapted to fit all sizes - see the notes in the pattern
Colors used: 2 colors - color A and color B

Abbreviations:
ss - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
ch - chain

Pattern:
(for bracelet, for anklet you have to add around 20 more stitches)

Ch 43 (multiple of 4 + 3) with color A, join color B and sc in second ch from hook, sc till the end (42 st). Turn.

Check whether the bracelet/anklet size will fit, if needed add/remove chains (just make sure the starting chain is multiple of 4 +3).

Ch 1, sc in same st, sc till end. Turn. Repeat this row one more time.

Now change to color A - ss in each st till end. Turn.

With color A *ch4, skip 3st, ss in the 4th st*, repeat * - * till the end. Turn.
In each chain space work *3sc, ch2, 3sc, ss in next chain*, on the last chain space ss in last stitch of the row. Turn the piece and work sc on the narrow side. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends.

Now on the opposite side - join color A and work a row of sc (3-4sc). Turn. Now chain 5 or 6 (depending on the button size) and ss on the opposite side to form a button hole.

Enjoy!

BraceNet

Another easy to crochet accessory - can be made as bracelet, headband or even as necklace. The gauge is not important for this project although using small hook and fine yarn looks better (for me at least). Just increase/decrease the starting chain as described in the pattern.

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: Any, fine yarn looks nicer.
Hook size: C/D or 3mm(hook size conversion chart)
Stitches used: sc, ss, hdc
Finished size: Any size as long as you follow the pattern instructions.

Abbreviations:
sc - single crochet
ss - slip stitch
hdc - half double crochet

Pattern:
Ch 46 for bracelet using hook C or D (for different sizes use any multiples of 4 ch + 2), sc in second st from hook, sc till end (46 st).

Row 1: Ch1, sc in same st, *ch 5, sc in 4th st from hook*, repeat * - *, turn.
Row 2: *Ch 5, sc in next ch 5 space *, repeat * - *, after the sc in the last ch 5 work ch 2, followed by dc in the last st of the row, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 5, sc in next ch 5 space *, repeat * - *, turn.
Row 4: Repeat row 2.
Row 5: Repeat row 3.
Row 6: Ch 5, sc in next ch5, *ch 3, sc in next ch 5*, end with ch 2, dc in last st, turn.
Row 7: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc till end of the row, turn.

Now turn the work on the narrow side and make a row of sc (I did 12 sc). Turn. Ch2, hdc in same st, hdc till end. Cut the yarn and weave in the end. Sew buttons on this side.

Make the same on the opposite side of the bracelet, only make button holes to fit the buttons.
For the button holes - start the row with ch1, sc in same st, then ch 3 or 4 st (depending on the size of your buttons), skip the same number of st and sc till 4 or 5 st left, then ch again 3 or 4 and sc at the end. Now turn and make another row of sc.

For necklace/headband - chain the desired lenght and go with the pattern - just make sure the starting chain is multiple of 4 + 2.

Criss Cross Bracelet

This is another fast and easy bracelet project. It uses small amount of yarn, can be made with any yarn and hook size and is a perfect gift and scrap yarn buster project.

*** This pattern is free. You may sell the products you make from my patterns but not the pattern itself. If you sell items from this pattern please link back to this post. Do not copy and repost this pattern or any of the photos and claim them as your own. ***

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: Any yarn will do. I used thin yarn with 3mm hook so the finished bracelet is small and elegant
Hook size: 3mm/C or D (hook size conversion chart)
Finished size: To fit adult hand, can be easily adapted for smaller/larger hand via removing/adding chains from the starting chain. See the notes in the pattern.
Stitches used: sc, dc and ss.
Special stitch: Criss Cross DC is a combination of two dc and is very simple - skip one st, dc in next st then dc in the stitch you have skipped.

Colors used: your prefered combination of two colors (color A and color B)

Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 44 (or even number of chains), ss in first chain. Make sure the chain is not twisted.

Row 2:
Ch 1, sc in same st, sc around, ss in ch 1. Now is the time to check it fits the hand and correct the starting chain if needed (just make sure you have even number of stitches).

Row 3:
Ch 3, skip 2, dc in 3th st, dc in the previous st (now one stitch is left between ch and the last worked dc), * skip one st, dc in next st, dc in previous st (criss cross dc)*, repeat * -*, the last dc should go in the one st that was left between the starting chain and the first criss cross dc stitch, end with ss.

Row 4:
Ch1, sc in same st, sc around.

Two color bracelet

Another crochet pattern for bracelet. I love this colors combination - the bracelet can be done in many colors to fit many different styles and cloths. The pattern is very simple and is a combination of basic crochet stitches - single crochet and chain.

The best part - it is fast to crochet - once you get the idea you can do it less than half an hour and make fast few of them as gifts for your parties.

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: 100% cotton
Hook size: D/3mm (hook size conversion chart)
Stitches used: sc, ss, ch
Finished size: To fit adult's hand. Easily adapted for any hand.
Colors used: color A and color B
Gauge: The gauge is not important here as you can make this bracelet with any yarn and hook size as long as you adapt the starting chain (check the notes in the pattern).

Pattern:

Row 1:
With color A ch 44, ss in first chain. Make sure the chain is not twisted.
Now ch1 and sc in first st, work one sc in each ch till end, ss.

If you need to do a bigger or smaller bracelet just make the starting chain bigger or smaller - keep even number of chains.
Before you continue with the pattern this is the time where you want to check that the bracelet will fit the size of the hand and will be comfortable to wear.

Row 2:
Join color B . Ch1, sc in same st, * ch1, skip one st, sc 1*, rep * - * around, end with ss.

Row 3:

Row 4:
Ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each st around, ss. Cut the yarn, weave in ends.

ZigZag Bracelets

I like crocheted bracelets. They can be done in any colors to match the cloths or other accessories like headband or belt, they are soft and the most important - allergy free. They are perfect gift and are one of those small crochet projects you can make in less than an hour.

This is very simple pattern that uses just combination of doubles so it is easy to make even for beginners in crocheting.

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: The yarn I used is 75% cotton, 25% viscose, but any yarn will do
Hook size: 3mm (hook size conversion chart), any other hook will also work well, it will just make the bracelet bigger (if you use bigger hook) or smaller(if you use smaller hook).
Stitches used: ch and dc
Finished size: 0.75in/2 cm wide, 8 in/20cm long - can be done longer or smaller to fit any hand
Gauge: The gauge is not important here as you can easily adapt the pattern for any hook size and yarn. Just add or remove stitches from the starting chain, make sure it contain even number of stiches.
Colors: I used different combination of two colors (color A and color B in the pattern)

Note: If you are using hook with size bigger than D/3mm you may replace the dc stitches with hdc to keep the bracelet smaller with almost no holes.

Pattern:
Row 1
With color A ch 44st (or even number st), dc in 4th ch from hook,* skip 1 st, 2dc in next st*, repeat from * to * till end, turn. You may join the end with the start of the chain (make sure it is not twisted) and work in rounds. I prefer to work in rows and join the ends of the bracelet with a button - this way it is easily adapted to fit any hand.

Row 2:

Change to color B - ch 3, dc between the two dc (not in the loops but in the space between the two dc from the previous row, see the picture below), *skip 1st, work 2dc between the next two dc (in the dc space)*, repeat from * to * till the end, turn

Row 3:

Change to color A and repeat row 2. You may now sew the edges or add a button.

Adding a button:
Before cutting the yarn go around the short edge with a row of sc (I made 6 sc), cut the yarn. Then attach the yarn at the oposite edge of the bracelet, work 2 sc, then ch6 (for the button hole), join with sc and do 2 more sc till the end. This is all, now just sew a button.

If you like the bracelet then may also like making a headband as well.
