Criss Cross Bracelet

This is another fast and easy bracelet project. It uses small amount of yarn, can be made with any yarn and hook size and is a perfect gift and scrap yarn buster project.

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: Any yarn will do. I used thin yarn with 3mm hook so the finished bracelet is small and elegant
Hook size: 3mm/C or D (hook size conversion chart)
Finished size: To fit adult hand, can be easily adapted for smaller/larger hand via removing/adding chains from the starting chain. See the notes in the pattern.
Stitches used: sc, dc and ss.
Special stitch: Criss Cross DC is a combination of two dc and is very simple - skip one st, dc in next st then dc in the stitch you have skipped.

Colors used: your prefered combination of two colors (color A and color B)

Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 44 (or even number of chains), ss in first chain. Make sure the chain is not twisted.

Row 2:
Ch 1, sc in same st, sc around, ss in ch 1. Now is the time to check it fits the hand and correct the starting chain if needed (just make sure you have even number of stitches).

Row 3:
Ch 3, skip 2, dc in 3th st, dc in the previous st (now one stitch is left between ch and the last worked dc), * skip one st, dc in next st, dc in previous st (criss cross dc)*, repeat * -*, the last dc should go in the one st that was left between the starting chain and the first criss cross dc stitch, end with ss.

Row 4:
Ch1, sc in same st, sc around.
