Textured Boot Cuffs

 

Crochet boot cuffs - free crochet pattern.

I've made these boot cuffs to match this hat and scarf 

  and

They are all very easy and fast to make.

This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: 50% acryl, 50% wool, super chunky

Hook size: 9mm/M

Stitches used: ch, dc, sc, hdc

Colors used: main color A (blue) around 45-50 gr of yarn needed, small amount of color B (black)

Pattern:

Start with color A
Ch9
Row 1: hdc in second ch from hook, hcd in each ch till end (8 hdc), turn
Row 2: ch 2, hdc in same st in the back loop only, hdc in the back loop only of each st till end of row, turn (8 hdc)

Repeat row 2 till you reach the desired length - measure around the calf at the top of the boots, as the size may vary. 

Now turn the piece at 90 degrees and make a row of sc along the long side of the piece. Turn. Make sure you have an odd number of stitches.

Change to color B


Ch3, *sc and dc in next st, skip one st*, repeat * - * till end, finish with sc in last st. Turn. Repeat this row one more time with color B, then switch back to color A and repeat once more. Finish with one row of sc.

I choose not to sew the edges but sew 4 small buttons instead. I didn't make special holes for the buttons but I used the holes in the texture that fit just perfectly to the buttons size.
