This pattern uses US crochet terms.

Yarn: Worsted. I used Alize Lanagold - combination of wool and acrylic.
Hook size: 5.5mm or I (hook size conversion chart)
Stitches used: dc, hdc, mc
Finished size: Teenage, adult (men and women) size

Abbreviations:
dc - double crochet
hdc - half double crochet
mc - magic circle (or magic loop) to start the hat
ss - slip stitch

Notes:
- Each round starts with ch 2 (I use ch 2 for dc instead of ch 3 as it makes almost unnoticable start but if you are not used to it you may ch 3 as usual instead).
- Each round ends with ss in the top of the starting ch.
- The starting chain counts as stitch (dc or hdc).

Pattern:
Round 1: In mc dc 10, ss in first dc (10 st).

Round 2: Ch 2, dc in same st, 2 dc in each st, end with ss in ch 2 (20 st).

Round 3: Ch 2, dc in same st, *dc in next st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * - *, end with ss in ch 2 (30 st)

Round 4: Ch 2, dc in same st, *dc in next 2 st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * - *, end with ss in ch 2 (40 st).

Round 5: Ch 2, dc in same st, *dc in next 3 st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * - *, end with ss in ch 2 (50 st).

For teenage size skip round 6 and 7 and go straight to round 8.

Round 6: Ch 2, dc in same st,  *dc in next 4 st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * - *, end with ss in ch 2 (60 st).

For women size skip round 7 and go straight to round 8.

Round 7: Ch 2, dc in same st,  *dc in next 5 st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat * - *, end with ss in ch 2 (70 st).

Round 8 - 11: Ch 2, dc in same st, dc around, end with ss in ch 2.

Round 12 (for adult size only - women, men): repeat round 8

Round 13: Join black, ch 1, hdc in same st, hdc around, end with ss in ch1.

Round 14: Join green, ch 1, hdc in same st, hdc around, end with ss in ch1.

Round 15, 16: With offwhite ch 1, hdc in same st, hdc around, end with ss in ch 1

Round 17: Repeat round 14

Round 18: Repeat round 13

Round 19, 20: With brown ch 1, hdc in same st, hdc around, end with ss in ch1.

And last the green part is sewn with big needle and green yarn. It is very easy to sew. The solid arrows is where the yarn go above, the pattern repeats every two hdc stitches. Simply insert the needle from the wrong side between some of the green hdc (1 on picture), then insert the needle in the upper green side (skip two hdc), repeat arroun the hat, then do the same but in the other direction so you make green 'X'

That's all
