Easy waves scarf

This scarf has interesting and unique design. It uses only basic stitches in a combination of shells and clusters to make the wave effect. The scarf is made of very soft yarn - combination of wool, acrylic and bamboo which makes it preferred choice to wear in winter or cold days.

I also made a matching hat if you want to make a complete soft winter set.

  2. Hi Diane,

of course you can make the scarf with any yarn you wish.
This is the yarn used in ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/alize-baby-wool
You may use yarn with similar meterage and weight or you can choose any other yarn - the yarn weight is not that important for scarf. If you choose a thicker yarn it will just make a bigger scarf but you may adapt the length by adding/removing stitches to the starting row and you may adapt the width by adding/removing rows.
It is up to you :)
I would do it with any yarn I have, it just happened to be this yarn as I liked the colors :)
